COOLING

Shadrach Plumbing & Cooling is proud to call the Fountain Hills and Sun Valley area our home, where no one wants to live without air conditioning. We sure don’t!

YOU HAVE OPTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO AIR CONDITIONING

Should you need an AC repair, replacement or installation, the trained professionals at Shadrach Plumbing & Cooling will assess your current situation and offer solutions that best meet your needs and budget to keep your Fountain Hills, AZ home or business comfortable. When the desert sun is beating down and the temperatures are rising, don’t worry. Shadrach offers the following cooling options:

- CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING

Central AC is popular and what most people think of when it comes to a cooling system. An outside compressor works in conjunction with an indoor air handler to remove heat from the inside air and transfers it outside. The cooled air is then circulated to all the interior areas through a series of ducts and vents.

- HEAT PUMP

A heat pump is similar to central AC. The difference is a heat pump is equipped with a reversing valve, which also allows it to heat the house when the outdoor temperatures turn cool and interior spaces need to be warmed.

- DUCTLESS MINI-SPLITS

Unlike a central system, mini-splits work without ductwork. The outdoor compressor can be attached to multiple indoor air handlers (also called heads or splits) which are located in individual rooms. The cooled air is delivered directly to the specific space as needed. Each head unit has its own thermostat for custom temperature control. Although the upfront costs may be higher, the increased energy efficiency will save money in the long run. Mini-splits also use heat pump technology meaning they can provide heat in the cooler months.

- EVAPORATIVE COOLERS

Evaporative coolers may also be called swamp coolers and are extremely energy efficient. Shadrach does not recommend evaporative coolers to provide primary cooling, but they are an excellent choice when used in conjunction with air conditioning. A swamp cooler will provide energy efficient cooling in spring and fall but you will likely have to turn the AC on to keep your home comfortable during the summer heat.
